On a 2007 visit to Norway we happened upon Miss Landmine, a beauty pageant organized to create awareness of the plight of landmine survivors while also making an unconventional statement about what is beautiful. Drawn to the project, we volunteered to create, and sell these shirts so that all of the proceeds ($17 per shirt) would be donated to Miss Landmine. Last year we raised almost $1400 for Miss Landmine Angola.
